Deniliquin Council presents a Regional Events Workshop on Thursday 2 July 2009, from 10am to 5pm at the Deniliquin RSL Club.

- How to create new events and refresh existing
- Concepts for new events related to natural, commercial and historic events
- Streamlining the event concepts into a program
- Securing sponsorship and government funding
- Measuring the event program against budget
- Marketing the event
- Creating dynamic branding and in-kind media sponsorship
- Volunteer and committee resources
- Post event evaluation
- Economic sustainability and business benefits of new regional events
