Booklet Provides Wise Water Advice
Water continues to be our nation’s most precious resource and with Murray Shire’s population continuing to grow, we have to make the most of the limited amounts of water available to us. If we all take a little more care, then we can achieve the same results in house and garden without too much trouble.
Council is leading the way by producing a booklet titled “The Waterwise House and Garden”, which provides some great ideas on how to save water, without too much impact on our lifestyles or our hip pockets. It covers a huge range of issues both indoors and out, so garden lovers will still be able to enjoy their pastime. They will just have to make some minor adjustments to the way they go about it.
Call at Council’s Offices in Mathoura or Moama and pick up a booklet today!
Alternatively, you can download it from Council’s website – www.murray.nsw.gov.au - , or arrange to have a copy posted to you by contacting Council's Engineering Department on 03 5884 3400.
In the meantime, Council urges all residents to heed the water restrictions which are in force throughout the Shire.
